Meeting the Japanese Student
After we finished visiting the petting zoo,
we went for a walk in Beacon Hill Park. There were many gardens. It was a
lovely spot to take pictures. Then, we met three Japanese people wearing their
yukata, so I asked them if they were from Japan and this started an entire
journey of friendship and fun. They talked with us, and then dressed us up in
traditional Chinese clothes as well and shared Japanese snacks with us. There
were two girls and a boy, Zorro.
We invited all three of them to come to our
farewell party, but the girls could not because they were going to
Toronto, but
Zorro says he will come. I hope so! Zorro’s dream is to own a Japanese hotel.
When Zorro was dressing me in a yukata, he said he will invite me in the future
to his hotel. He also had a very cool bamboo bike that his friend made for him!
How cool is that!
